About Pete:

Pete has a degree in Visual Arts from Oxford Brookes University. On the course he took a lot of pictures and made some conceptual sculptures. Indeed so conceptual were his sculptures that he was named ’The Concept Man’ by his peers!

After his degree he set up and ran a sculpture park (www.gardensofgaia.co.uk) in Kent, South-East England.

After a brief foray into film-making, Pete returned to stills photography. He’s left the concepts behind and instead aims to take classic portraits “with a modern twist”.

He’s embraced the ever-evolving digital landscape and has a seemingly insatiable appetite for new photographic toys and the tricks that can be pulled with them.

His influences change by the day. At present is trying to remove himself from the grip of Bill Brandt’s moody black and white’s and move into the more colourful world of the likes of Nan Goldin and Philip Lorca DiCorcia.

Pete has a studio in West London and is available for editorial portrait work; either in the sudio or on location.
